The Algoma Highlands Conservancy is offering a Wilderness First Aid Course. It runs on 2 weekends, April 14/15 and April 21/22, and registration is required by March 21st.

A hike at the Pretty River Valley/Duntroon Highlands area of the Niagara Escarpment on May 12, 2012

This exciting hiking event takes place in the Duntroon/Collingwood area of the Niagara Escarpment.

• Seven different degrees of difficulty, totally suitable for all ages and stages-as well, a great family or team event;
• Suttle buses to & from hiking areas;
• Tax receipts if required, through Environmental Defence;
• Enlightening Specialists & guides posted to answer questions regarding the science & history of the terrain;
• Exciting rewards from very notable sponsors;
• For early risers, Continental Breakfast; at the end, a BBQ party with music & silent auction;

Please gather your friends, colleagues, families, etc., to support us in the preservation of the wondrous Bruce Trail and the Niagara Escarpment, from invading gravel quarries. Ontario's World Biosphere needs our stewardship for its protection.
