Hike Ontario appreciates that unexpected events occur in our lives and that occasionally a person isn’t able to attend a course that they have registered for. We also know that there are costs involved in the presentation of a hiking course. With these givens, Hike Ontario will consider the reimbursement of the registration fee on an individual basis and in a fair manner as decided by the Program Chair. The amount of the reimbursement will be the course fee minus the administration fee and in consideration of the proximity to the course date.
The following is Hike Ontario's refund procedure for Cancellations and "No Show" course participants:
- Timing and Refunds:
- Cancelled 8 days or more prior to course date = FULL Refund minus administrative fee
- Cancelled 5-7 days prior to course date = 50% Refund minus administrative fee
- Cancelled 4 days or less prior to start of course = NO Refund
- No other refunds will be provided unless due to extenuating circumstances (as determined by the Program Chair).
