Do you want to enjoy the wonderful outdoors, meet other like-minded people, and hike on some of the province’s most pristine trails?
Well, you’re in the right place!
Hike Ontario’s 25 affiliated Hiking Clubs and Trail Associations are located all across the province, with over 10,000 km of publicly accessible trails.
Our Trail Associations directly manage approximately 3,000 kilometres of pedestrian trails which are largely interconnected. Their membership fees pay for the insurance, much of the trail construction and maintenance costs and training for hike leaders. The gift of their activity allows the public to hike for free across Ontario. By joining a hiking club or trail association, you are also engaged in this magnificent contribution to the quality of our outdoor life in this province.
